Casino Gambling in a vaccuum

The Governor of the Commonwealth released a 500 page report regarding Casino Gambling.

Not one single comment from the Middleboro Board of Selectmen was included!

In conversations with Middleboro's legislative delegation, it seems that there is no attempt by Middleboro's leadership to maintain a dialogue and be included in the state 'Compact.'

The distinct impression is that the delegation is convinced that Middleboro took care of itself in the Agreement.

They seem to think the $7 MILLION is adequate.

When I attempted to have an unrelated dialogue with Selectman Perkins, he went off on a rant about our legislative delegation and the lack of communications.

Don't the phones work? Or are their arms too weak from stroking their egos and
patting themselves on their backs?
